A few weeks. A serious amount of building.
A project-led summer intensive across robotics, AI, web development, cybersecurity and 3D design, with the emphasis on making rather than watching. Our first Lagos summer programme was scheduled for August 2024, and the format has shaped our cohorts since.
Four weeks, one shared arc.
Learners pick a track and everyone presents on the last day.
Safety, tools and fundamentals
Workshop rules, electronics basics, programming basics and a first working circuit.
Sensing and motion
Sensors, motors and the first robot that responds to its surroundings.
Choose a track
Robotics, AI and vision, web and software, cybersecurity or 3D design and printing.
Integrate, test, present
Combine the pieces, test them, fix them and demonstrate to families and guests.
Tracks.
Learners may combine two where time allows.
Robotics
Build and program a robot that completes a task.
AI and vision
Train a model and run it on a camera.
Web and software
Design and launch a small web product.
Cybersecurity
Learn defensive practice in a controlled lab.
3D design and printing
Model and print parts that fit a real project.
Demonstration day
Every learner explains and shows what they built.
